Empathy Labs LLC runs empathylabs.ai. This page explains what information the site handles and why. Questions or requests: mat@empathylabs.ai.

## What the site collects

**When you buy a package.** The checkout asks for your name, email, and a comment, all optional. They are sent to PayPal with your order (name and email as the order reference, the comment as the item note) so we can recognise your booking and reply. Card details go into PayPal's hosted card fields and never reach our servers; the optional billing ZIP for US cards goes to PayPal with them. PayPal processes the payment under its own privacy statement.

**Recently booked.** The bookings list shows completed payments from the last 30 days as the package, a rough region (a US state or a country, never a city or street), and the time rounded down to the hour. It never shows names, emails, notes, or PayPal IDs.

**Hosting.** Vercel hosts the site and processes standard request data, such as IP address, browser user agent, and the page requested, to deliver pages and protect the service.

**In your browser.** The site keeps a short list of anonymous interaction events, such as which chapter you viewed, in your browser's session storage for design measurement. It is not sent anywhere and is cleared when you close the tab. The site sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or cross-site tracking. PayPal's checkout scripts, loaded only when you open checkout, may set their own cookies.

## How it is used

To process your order, schedule the work, and reply to you. Empathy Labs does not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

## Keeping and deleting it

Order records stay in PayPal as accounting and tax rules require. Email mat@empathylabs.ai to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you.

## Changes

This page will be updated before the site starts handling information differently.
